Orson Scott Card

Orson Scott Card (conceived August 24, 1951) is an American writer, faultfinder, open speaker, writer, and journalist.

His novel Ender's Game (1985) and its continuation Speaker for the Dead (1986) both won Hugo and Nebula Awards,making Card the main creator to win both sci-fi's best U.S. prizes in successive years.
